KUALA LUMPUR: The producer price index (PPI) for local production rose 0.9% year-on-year in February to 105.9, the National Statistics Department has revealed.
Chief statistician Datuk Sri Mohd Uzir Mahidin said the increase in the index was owing to growth in the agriculture, forestry and fishing, electricity and gas supply and manufacturing indices.
