Eversendai bags RM490m jobs, orderbook at RM2.69b

KUALA LUMPUR: Eversendai Corporation Bhd has secured RM490.10mil worth of projects in Morocco, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

The company, whose core business is structural steel, said on Wednesday these contracts boosted its outstanding construction order book to a near all-time high of RM2.69bil.

Eversendai said the new contracts included a 55-storey luxurious commercial tower project in Morocco.

In Qatar, it was awarded the contract for two commercial towers in the financial district, Lusail City Development, Doha. The construction industry in Qatar is expected to benefit from investments made in preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and Qatar National Vision 2030.

In Saudi Arabia, it was awarded a facility control centre and an administrative building project for a metro station.
