Priceworth cancels timber deal

PETALING JAYA: After more than three years, Priceworth International Bhd has decided to terminate a sales and purchase agreement to acquire timber extraction and replanting rights in a forest reserve area in Sabah.

In its filings with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the agreement dated Oct 19,2016, entered into between its unit GSR Pte Ltd and Transkripsi Pintar Sdn Bhd (TPSB) would be terminated with immediate effect.
