TNB back in the black


For its financial year ended Dec 31,2019, TNB’s net profit rose to RM4.53bil from RM3.72bil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue was flat at RM50.94bil compared with RM50.39bil a year earlier.

PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has reported a net profit of RM653.30mil for its fourth quarter ended Dec 31,2019, compared with a net loss of RM134.3mil in the previous corresponding period, driven mainly by lower impairments and positive contributions from its international subsidiaries.

Revenue in the fourth quarter was flattish at RM 12.18bil from RM12.55bil a year earlier.
