Datasonic urges Bursa to probe into cause of price fall

“We wish to emphasise that the company’s business is doing well as usual and there is no negative development affecting its business and the fundamentals of the company remain strong and solid, ” it said.

KUALA LUMPUR: Datasonic Group Bhd, whose share price fell sharply on Wednesday and short-selling activities subsequently suspended, urged Bursa Malaysia Securities to launch a probe.

In its reply to Bursa Securities over the sudden sharp fall, the company said it was not aware of any corporate development or any change that could have caused the unusual market activity.
