KUALA LUMPUR: Short-selling of Datasonic was suspended in late Wednesday trade after its share price fell sharply.
Bursa Securities said on at 4.14pm, the short-selling was suspended as the last done price dropped more than 15% from the reference price.
“The short selling under PDT and IDSS will only be activated the following trading day, Thurday, 27 February 2020 at 08.30am, ” it said.
At 4.35pm, it was down 36 sen to RM1.04 with 39.38 million shares done.
The FBM KLCI rose 3.95 points to 1,504.83. Turnover was 3.49 billion shares valued at RM2.58bil. There were 325 gainers, 563 losers and 382 counters unchanged.
