AWC group CEO and president Datuk Ahmad Kabeer

KUALA LUMPUR: Engineering services provider AWC Bhd registered a net profit of RM363,000 for the second quarter of the financial year ending June 30,2020 (FY20), which was a decline from a net profit of RM7mil posted in the corresponding quarter last year.

The lower net profit for the quarter was due to a one-off segmental loss before tax of RM3.5mil in the engineering division as well as lower contributions from the environment and rail divisions.
