YTL second quarter profit at RM17.54mil


During the quarter in review, YTL saw its revenue grow 21.7% to RM5.54bil from RM4.55bil previously, driven by its construction; cement manufacturing and trading; property investment and development; and hotels divisions

PETALING JAYA: Construction and engineering conglomerate YTL Corp Bhd’s net profit fell 60.9% to RM17.54mil for the second quarter (2Q19) ended Dec 31,2019, from RM44.82mil in the previous corresponding period.

This was due to lower contribution from its information technology and e-commerce related business as well as utilities divisions.
