Sapura Energy and partner Petrofac wins first Abu Dhabi EPC contract


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Sapura Energy Bhd, in partnership with Petrofac Emirates LLC, has secured its first contract in Abu Dhabi from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) for the Dalma Gas Development Project.

In a statement today, Sapura Energy said the scope of work includes engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of all offshore facilities, several wellhead platforms and 189-kilometres of subsea pipelines, to be completed in approximately 30 months.

Sapura Energy president and group chief executive officer Tan Sri Shahril Shamsuddin said the company is committed to deliver the project with its hallmark technical capabilities in offshore engineering and construction.
