Govt to unveil stimulus package soon


The Finance Ministry held a three-hour meeting on Monday with local industry players to gather inputs and more meetings with local businesses would be held.

PUTRAJAYA: A proposed stimulus package to boost the local economy will be announced at the end of this month or in early March to cushion the impact of the novel coronavirus outbreak, said Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng.

He said the Finance Ministry held a three-hour meeting on Monday with local industry players to gather inputs and a more meetings with local businesses would be held.
