KUALA LUMPUR: NWP Holdings Bhd
has suspended its group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Kee Soon Ling effective immediately amid an investigation into possible misconduct involving past significant transactions.
In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia, the company said the board has established an investigative working group with immediate effect to carry out the probe.
The suspension decision was to enable the investigative working group to carry out its probe.
“The probe was into an alleged potential misconduct(s)/breach of fiduciary duty(ies) on certain past significant transactions under NWP Builder Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of NWP, ” it said.
