Ekovest and unit face lawsuit over aborted joint venture

PETALING JAYA: Ekovest Bhd and its wholly-owned subsidiary Ekovest Construction Sdn Bhd is facing a lawsuit by Samling Resources Sdn Bhd over their aborted joint venture (JV) for the Pan Borneo Highway job.

The contract, worth RM2.11bil, was awarded in 2016 to undertake the development and upgrading of the Pan Borneo Highway in the state of Sarawak — Phase 1 for work package contract WPC-02 (Semantan to Sg Moyan Bridge and KSR Interchanges).
