KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's exports in December 2019 grew 2.7% over the same month in 2018 to RM86.4bil, outperforming the 2.5% decline forecast by a survey of Bloomberg analysts.
In a statement, national chief statistician Datuk Mohd Uzir Mahidin said Malaysia's trade volume bucked six months of decline in December to grow 1.9% y-o-y while the trade surplus rose 14.7% y-o-y to RM12.6bil.
