KLCI dips at midday amid mixed broader market


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia was marginally lower at the midday break on Wednesday, while Hong Kong fell more than 2% when it reopened for trading as the coronavirus outbreak spead further and the death toll rose.

At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI was down 1.16 points or 0.07% to 1,550.48. Turnover was 1.49 billion shares valued at RM1.16biul. The broader market was mixed with 397 gainers, 384 losers and 325 counters unchanged.
