KUALA LUMPUR: FGV Holdings Bhd does not expect the resuspension of its Kompleks Serting and move to put on hold ongoing new certification processes at 23 other complexes to have a material impact on the group and its subsidiaries.

In a statement issued to Bursa Malaysia on Friday, it said that it still has 33 mills which were previously certified.

“FGV will continue to work towards good practice and sustainability, ” it said.

To recap, the Complaints Panel of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil had re-suspended FGV’s Kompleks Serting and put on hold the ongoing new certification processes at 23 other complexes.

However, FGV had then said it would apeal against the decision to the Complaints Panel (CP) and the RSPO in view of FGV’s progress updates and action plans which are all in the process of being implemented.
