Takaful, BIMB slump after RHB Bank plans to end service deal


Takaful fell 59 sen or 10.3% to close at RM5.11, the lowest since April 24,2019. The decline in the share price erased RM487.80mil from its market capitalisation to reduce it to RM4.225bil. This was based on its issued shares were 826.79 million.

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Takaful Malaysia and its major shareholder BIMB Holdings Bhd slumped on Thursday after RHB Bank announced its plan to end its bancatakaful service agreement (BSA) with Takaful.

Takaful fell 59 sen or 10.3% to close at RM5.11, the lowest since April 24,2019.
