Securemetric buys stake in PrivyID for RM6mil


PETALING JAYA: Securemetric Bhd is buying a 5% stake in Indonesia’s PT Privy Identitas Digital (PrivyID) for a total cash consideration of RM6.03mil through a conditional share subscription agreement.

According to a Bursa Malaysia filing yesterday, PrivyID is Indonesia’s first Non-Government Institution Certified Certificate Authority (CA), as well as the first private company in Indonesia that was granted access to the National Identification data base.
