FGV chairman: Worst is behind us

Azhar said the board intends to transform FGV into an organisation that is not wholly dependent on the CPO price for its performance. “I believe the worst is behind us and that FGV is definitely on the right path towards a new and far better future," he said.

PETALING JAYA: FGV Holdings Bhd intends to use the opportunity from the recent upturn in the price of crude palm oil (CPO) to build a more resilient group, says its chairman Datuk Wira Azhar Abdul Hamid.

In a letter to shareholders yesterday, Azhar said the board intends to transform FGV into an organisation that is not wholly dependent on the CPO price for its performance.
