Stronger quarter ahead for Mynews, CGS-CIMB Research says

CGS-CIMB Research said Mynews 4QFY10/19 revenue rose to RM139.8m (+6.2% qoq), thanks to more new store openings and higher sales of its in-house ready-to-eat (RTE) products.

KUALA LUMPUR: CGS-CIMB Equities Research expects Mynews to record sequentially stronger quarters.

In its report issued on Friday it said the stronger growth would be underpinned by: i) more new store openings (+100 stores annually for FY20-22), ii) more profitable sales mix with higher sales of ready-to-eat (RTE) products which have higher margins, as well as iii) lower losses from FPC from an improvement in the utilisation rate.
