Public Bank, MISC underpin KLCI’s slim gains


KUALA LUMPUR: Some nibbling of Public Bank and MISC helped the FBM KLCI eke out marginal gains early Friday while key Asian markets were in a lacklustre mode.

At 9.07am, the KLCI was up 0.65 of a point or 0.04% to 1,596.66. Turnover was 88.89 million shares to RM79.08mil. There were 129 gainers, 99 losers and 188 counters unchanged.
