Bursa bucks trend as key Asian markets soar on Wall St's lead


KUALA LUMPUR: The local stock exchange failed to muster the same optimism as key regional markets on Tuesday following a record-breaking performance on Wall Street overnight.

In line with most other Southeast Asian markets Bursa Malaysia found itself in the red despite positive leads from major markets overnight as investors remained on edge over any potential surprises arising from the phase-one trade arrangements between the US and China, which have yet to be signed.
