T7 Global bags contracts from Mubadala and Shell

KUALA LUMPUR: T7 GLOBAL BHD has secured contracts from Mubadala Petroleum’s entity, MDC Oil & Gas (SK320) Ltd (MDC) and from Sarawak Shell Bhd/ Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Ltd (Shell).

The oil and gas service provider said on Monday its subsidiary Fircroft Tanjung Sdn Bhd had received two letter of awards from MDC.

The first award, dated Oct 17, was to provide third-party manpower services to support of MDC’s technical, production operations and its health, safety, security and environment’ requirements.

The subsequent award, dated Nov 4, was to provide third-party manpower services to support MDC’s drilling and exploration requirements.

As for the contract from Shell, it was awarded to T7 Wenmax Sdn Bhd, to provide an engineered product job and it was expected to be delivered by September 2022.

T7 Global chairman Datuk Seri Nik Norzrul Thani Nik Hassan Thani said following the award of similar manpower contracts by other operators recently, these contracts indicate a continuous growth for T7 Global’s oil and gas business.

“The group has also been awarded an engineered product job by Shell. We like to thank international oil and gas producer, Mubadala Petroleum and Shell for their confidence in T7 Global’s capabilities in the manpower supply segment and also solutions for engineered products.

“Prior to this, T7 Global was awarded manpower contracts, one from Petrofac Ltd and the other from SapuraOMV Upstream (PM) Inc. & SapuraOMV Upstream (Sarawak) Inc, ” it said.
