KUALA LUMPUR: Blue chips ended Monday in the red, weighed down by selling of Tenaga Nasional and IHH Healthcare in volatile trade as late selling erased efforts to prop up the FBM KLCI.
At 5pm, the KLCI was down 1.81 points or 0.12% to 1,569.35, off the intra-day high of 1,573. Turnover was 2.29 billion shares valued at RM1.76bil. There were 376 gainers, 453 losers and 404 counters unchanged.
