KUALA LUMPUR: More than 200 delegates from 15 countries attended a conference on Financial Education and Financial Consumer Protection in Asia-Pacific organised by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) here on Dec 11-12.
In a statement on Friday, BNM said high-level policy makers and experts from the region and the OECD shared experiences and challenges in promoting financial literacy and inclusion, ensuring consumer and data protection, as well as regulating digital financial assets in the digital era.
