KUALA LUMPUR: KUB Malaysia Bhd said its group managing director Abdul Rahim Mohd Zin has resigned with immediate effect to pursue other interest.
Abdul Rahim, 56, was appointed to the post in August 2015.
The chartered accountant was replaced by chief financial officer Ahmed Fairuz Abdul Aziz, 41, who was promoted to the post of chief executive officer.
Ahmed Fairuz joined KUB in 2016.
In May this year, former second finance minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani emerged as the single largest shareholder in KUB following his acquisition of a 32% stake in the company from Anchorscape Sdn Bhd.
Anchorscape remains the second largest shareholder in KUB with a 20.2% equity interest.
