KUALA LUMPUR: Up to 600 applications from small-and-medium enterprises (SME) are expected for the new season of the Alliance Bank-EcoWorld BizSmart Challenge compared to about 400 last year, driven by the overwhelming response in the previous season.
Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd group chief executive officer Joel Kornreich said this year’s challenge offers a higher prize quantum of over RM1.5mil in cash, product sponsorships and media coverage prize.
“After BizSmart Challenge has ended, we will extend up to RM5mil in collateral-free financing and assign a dedicated SME Banking Advisory team to help the top 20 finalists with the entrepreneurial journey, ” he said after the launch of the challenge here yesterday. — Bernama
