Setegap Ventures gets RM98.35m financing from Bank Islam for capex


Bank Islam CEO Mohd Muazzam Mohamed said the initiative is a continuation of the Bank Islam Vendor Financing Programme (VFP) to boost the growth of Malaysia’s oil and gas (O&G) sector.

KUALA LUMPUR: Setegap Ventures Petroleum Sdn Bhd has secured a RM98.35mil financing deal for Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd for its capital expenditure and working capital requirements.

The financing agreement is for Setegap Ventures, a subsidiary of Uzma Bhd, to acquire equipment for its well intervention contracts from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.
