Time dot Com Q3 net profit up at RM83m, boost from data


TIME’s commander-in-chief Afzal Abdul Rahim said the competitive and challenging landscape of the Malaysian telecommunications industry will persist for the remainder of 2019 with liberalisation and improvement efforts being made through regulatory rebalancing.

KUALA LUMPUR: Time dot Com Bhd's net profit rose by 3.7% to RM82.99mil in the third quarter ended Sept 30,2019 from RM79.98mil a year ago boosted by its higher revenue from its data business.

TIME said on Friday its revenue increased by 11.2% to RM278.16mil from RM250mil. Earnings per share were 14.19 sen compared with 13.71 sen.
