Hektar REIT quarterly net profit up 28% to RM12.23mil


Segamat Central recorded the highest positive rental reversions with 16.4%, followed by Kulim Central with 15.7% and Wetex Parade with 14.7%. The results were weighed slightly down by Subang Parade and Central Square.

PETALING JAYA: Hektar Real Estate Investment Trust’s (Hektar REIT) net profit was up 28.1% to RM12.23mil for the third quarter ended Sept 30, from RM9.55mil a year ago due to stronger leasing performance in three malls.

The stronger leasing performance was reflected by positive rental reversions of 5.4% in the quarter as the portfolio occupancy inched up to 91.9%.
