KUALA LUMPUR: Ann Joo Resources Bhd suffered its third straight quarters of losses in the three-month Sept 30 as the company continued to struggle to compete against the influx of cheap imports amid rising production cost.
The biggest steel counter on Bursa Malaysia warned that the domestic market remained challenging due to excessive supply and tepid steel demand, but noted that steel bar price has recovered from exceptionally low level.
