RHB posts robust 3Q results

For the first nine months of the year, the group saw net profit growing 7% to RM1.86bil from RM1.74bil in the previous corresponding period, underpinned by higher non-fund-based income and lower ECL for loans and other financial assets.

PETALING JAYA: RHB Bank Bhd saw improved performance for its third quarter ended Sept 30, with net profit jumping 6.4% to RM615.8mil while revenue rose 4.1% to RM3.33bil.

The group said its stronger results were mainly on the back of higher net fund-based and non-fund-based income and higher expected credit losses (ECL) writeback on other financial assets.
