Survey: PE firms embark on diversification strategy


Private Equity (PE) firms are diversifying their strategies through specialisation, according to a survey published in the Global Private Equity Outlook 2020 by the law firm Dechert and financial data provider Mergermarket.

The report notes PE houses homing in on corners of the market where there may be less competition, as they seek to put record sums of dry powder in the ground.
