KUALA LUMPUR: RAM Ratings expects Malaysia’s overall inflation rate to ease to 0.9% in October 2019 from 1.1% in September due to a smaller contribution from the food component.
It said in a statement on Tuesday food inflation was envisaged to have decelerated against the high-base effects from October 2018, when it had spiked up to 1.2% from 0.5% the month before.
