ESTABLISHED in 2012, redONE Network Sdn Bhd (redONE) is the first Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in Malaysia that provides affordable postpaid

services and a variety of other competitive mobile plans that traditional mobile network operators do not usually feature.

Using Celcom’s fast and reliable network infrastructure, redONE users are able to enjoy the widest network coverage throughout Malaysia at only a fraction of their monthly expenses.

In a highly penetrated mobile market in Malaysia, redONE drives business growth both in terms of subscribers and revenues.

By leveraging its wide and effective sales and distribution network, from only 140,000 subscribers in early 2014, the numbers shot up to 500,000 in 2015 – equivalent to almost 2% of the overall mobile subscriber market share.

In 2018, redONE had surpassed one million subscribers; an excellent achievement that portrays overwhelming acceptance of its products and support from the mass.

Another key ingredient to their success is having a team of excellent sales partners. redONE’s unique business model employs a three-tier sales structure with attractive incentives and long-term recurring revenue sharing. This allows their business partners to enjoy a specific percentage from the customers’ revenue paid to redONE every month, as long as the customers are still active and current with their payments.

redONE is also the first telco in Malaysia to introduce and implement mReg – a paperless registration platform running on Android tablet to register all its customers.

Coupled with a Smart Card reader, sales agents can sign up customers anywhere, anytime at real time, while reducing the environmental impact of paper-based systems.

The number of subscribers have grown because their services are designed and inspired by their

customers’ aspiration which are materialised in the mobile plans that they offer.

Their core product, the Amazing Postpaid plans, start from as low as RM8 per month and all of their postpaid customers get free calls among themselves. For users who wish to make unlimited calls to all networks, they can sign up for the Amazing38 or Amazing68.

Amazing38 comes with 8GB 4G LTE data at only RM38 per month while Amazing68 comes with 30GB 4G LTE data at only RM58 per month (subscribers will get RM10 rebate for the first 12 months).

redONE’s practices and values have led to it being honoured with prestigious awards. Among its memorable recognitions are:

• Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards – MVNO Service Provider of the Year (2014,2015 & 2016)

• The Brand Laureate – Corporate Branding Award 2015-2016.

• The 8th Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA) – Best in Marketing Award (Gold) and Best Brand (Silver) 2017.

• SME Platinum Business Awards 2017.

Not one to sit on its laurels, redONE has plans to spread its wings throughout the Asean region. In keeping with company’s vision of becoming the largest MVNO in the region, redONE has started its operation in Singapore on July 1 this year. In the near future, redONE plans to expand to Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.
