Nestle Malaysia's 3Q net profit up 8.2% to RM149m, Div 70c


Its CEO Juan Aranols said the strong growth in profit margins was driven by robust domestic sales and its steady focus on driving efficiencies and savings to build bottom line resiliency in the face of external cost pressures.

KUALA LUMPUR: Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd posted stronger net profit in the third quarter ended Sept 30,2019 as it focused on driving sustainable efficiencies and savings and it declared an interim dividend of 70 sen a share.

It reported on Tuesday its net profit rose by 8.2% to RM148.99mil from RM137.68mil a year ago. Profit before tax rose 2.6% to RM191.64mil from RM186.72mil. Earnings per share were 63.54 sen compared with 58.72 sen.
