KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia ended Wednesday lower amid a weaker broader market but the FBM KLCI managed to stay above the crucial 1,600 level thanks to buying of MAHB and Maybank.
At 5pm, the KLCI was down 3.49 points or 0.22% to 1,603.25 – and it was in the negative territory most of the day. Turnover was 2.71 billion shares while trading value was only RM1.72bil, reflecting the poorer trading quality.
