KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI flirted with the 1,600 pyschologically important level in morning trade as global equities pushed higher on improved trade sentiment and positive US economic data.
Asian equities rose to multi-month highs on Monday, tracking Wall Street's positive performance last Friday as US payroll figures beat expectations and US officials said a trade deal with China could be signed as early as this month.
