Ringgit set for biggest weekly gain since Sept

US$/Ringgit fell 0.1% on Friday to 4.1740, taking its decline this week to 0.3% -- the most since five days ended Sept 13.

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit headed for its best week since September, helped by broad dollar weakness and better-than-expected Malaysia manufacturing data.

Traders are awaiting US economic reports to gauge if the recent rebound in emerging-market currencies will sustain.
