PLUS clarifies misleading report on debt, operational efficiency

KUALA LUMPUR: PLUS Malaysia Bhd, which had attracted a lot of suitors keen to take over the highway owner and operator, issued a statement on Thursday to clarify several misleading and inaccurate claims reported in the media.

Below is the statement issued by its managing director Datuk Azman Ismail:

"In reference to a recent media report on private firms intending to take over PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS), the management wishes to clarify the misleading and inaccurate claims the company’s debt and operational efficiency.
