Bursa, most Asian markets end lower on weak China data


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia joined key Asian markets to end Friday in the red after China's GDP for the third quarter grew at a slower-than-expected pace.

At 5pm, the KLCI was down 3.35 points or 0.21% to 1,571.15 and is down 7.06% year-to-date. Turnover was 2.96 billion shares valued at RM2.22bil. The broader market was mixed with 401 gainers, 432 losers and 398 counters unchanged.
