Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

KUALA LUMPUR: Proceeds from the disposal of Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s shares, assets and interests fully belong to the sovereign wealth fund and will never be used to pay government debts, said Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.

He said Khazanah would usually use the divestment proceeds to undertake new investments as well as pay its debts that are almost due.
