AsiaPac banks facing tougher 2020, SP Global Ratings says


The US-China trade war will continue to weigh on global trade and economy and Asia-Pacific is not spared.

KUALA LUMPUR: S&P Global Ratings sees a more challenging year for financial institutions in the Asia Pacific region in 2020.

Gavin Gunning, a credit analyst at S&P Global Ratings said the Asia-Pacific region's economic slowdown continues to weigh on the ratings on non-financial corporates.
