UDA appoints Mohd Salem as new CEO


Mohd Salem has 25 years of experience in the property industry, particularly in managing 29 new townships.

KUALA LUMPUR: UDA Holdings Bhd, an agency under the Entrepreneur Development Ministry (MED), has announced the appointment Mohd Salem Kailany as its new chief executive officer (CEO) effective Sept 20,2019.

Mohd Salem has 25 years of experience in the property industry, particularly in managing 29 new townships.

Prior to his appointment, he was the CEO of PNB Development Sdn Bhd.

“MED welcomes the appointment of Mohd Salem as the CEO and is confident that his extensive experience in the field of property development and management would be able to reaffirm UDA Holdings objective towards uplifting the interest of Bumiputera in the area of urban property development, ” the ministry said in a statement.

Mohd Salem holds an advanced diploma in estate management from Universiti Teknologi MARA.

He has also attended the senior management development programme at Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Malaysia as well as the advance management programme of Harvard Business School. —Bernama
