KUALA LUMPUR: Blue chips closed weaker on Thursday as investors continued to be cautious, dragged by declines in IHH Healthcare, Maybank and Sime Plantation.
At 5pm, the KLCI was down 3.21 points or 0.2% to 1,596.28 -- the lowest since Sept 5. Turnover was 2.28 billion shares but turnover was low at RM1.49bil reflecting the weak trading interest. Decliners beat advancers 464 to 362 while 399 counters were unchanged.
