KUALA LUMPUR: Stock that might attract investor interest on Wednesday include Dayang, Scomi, Berjaya Land, Ranhill and UWC, according to JF Apex's daily highlights reports.
The research house noted that Dayang has secured a 15-month contract from Petronas while Scomi submitted a PN17 waiver application Bursa Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Berjaya Land secured a public housing and RM2.6bil GDV mixed development in Myanmar.
Ranhill bagged a RM18.6mil pipe replacement contract in Kota Bharu and UWC recorded positive earnings growth in its quarterly results.
The FBM KLCI, which plunged over 20 points in the previous session, could be extending its selldown to a support of 1,570 points as it tracks the softer sentiment in major markets, said JF Apex.
Stocks have fallen at the start of September amid the new US-China tariffs coupled with weak US manufacturing data.
For Wednesday, Asian stocks are set to open little changed as investors await Australia's GDP data, the research firm added.
