Sime Darby makes Abdul Rahman chairman


Abdul Rahman(pic) is currently the president and group chief executive officer of Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB). Sime Darby is one of PNB’s key strategic companies in which it owns a 52% stake.

PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Bhd has appointed Datuk Abdul Rahman Ahmad as non-independent non-executive director effective Sept 1,2019.

In a statement, Sime Darby said Abdul Rahman, 50, will assume the position of chairman of Sime Darby on Oc 31,2019.
