Guan Chong proposes bonus issue

PETALING JAYA: Guan Chong Bhd has proposed to undertake a bonus issue on the basis of one bonus issue for every existing share held as well as a one-for-three issue of free warrants.

The exercise, if approved, would entail an issuance of up to 527.94 million bonus shares and 175.98 million free warrants based on the confectionery producer’s share capital of 480.16 million.

In its filing with Bursa Malaysia, Guan Chong said the entitlement date for the proposed bonus issue and free warrants would be determined later.

Guan Chong’s share price closed at RM3.91, up 38 sen, yesterday.
