Centurion eyes workers’ housing market

KUALA LUMPUR: Singapore-listed Centurion Corp Ltd’s subsidiary, Westlite Dormitory Management Sdn Bhd, plans to expand its workers’ accommodation business in Selangor.

Last month, amendments to the Workers’ Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990 were made to ensure workers in all sectors of employment enjoyed better housing and accommodation, basic amenities as well as better health and safety standards.
