HSL gets RM104.5mil contract


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, HSL said that the scope of work includes piling works, earth and sand filling, geotechnical work, drainage and road pavement.

PETALING JAYA: Hock Seng Lee Bhd (HSL) has received a letter of acceptance from the Sarawak Works Department for a project valued at RM104.51mil, which it had obtained through an open tender exercise.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, HSL said that the scope of work includes piling works, earth and sand filling, geotechnical work, drainage and road pavement.

The contract period is 24 months and physical construction work is expected to commence next month. The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the HSL Group as the project progresses during the contract period.

None of the directors or major shareholders of HSL or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the above contract.
