KUALA LUMPUR: Passenger and commercial vehicle sales rose 19.5% in July to 50,853 due to the longer working month and the Malaysian Automotive Association expects the sales volume to be maintained in August.
It said on Monday July sales volume rose by 8,327 units from June. However, when compared to a year ago, sales volume fell by 25% from 68,466 units due to the zero-rated Goods and Service Tax.
